The quail I'm raising for meat in my backyard homestead are three weeks old. They have been outside in their coop I designed and built for the past week. I am raising them meal worms to eat and am also mixing and making my own mostly organic quail food mixture. I show how big they have grown in just three weeks. They convert food to body mass so efficiently. Much better than chickens do. They will be laying eggs in only three weeks. Out of the 11 quail, I have 5 males and 6 females.
