Radishes are Cool Weather Vegetables: Container Planting and Quick Tips
Tips, Tricks
Radishes are cool weather vegetables. They like 50-60 degree nights and 60-70 degree days. They can be ready in as little as 25 days. You can plant them in the spring and fall. I recommended planting them in succession every 2 weeks. This way you get a steady harvest. And they will do fine in containers! Does it work with beets as well, Gary? Like it we're using a deeper container? If so, how many inches of soil would you say beets need in order to grow a good size beetroot? Thanks!

The winter mix is in the polytunnels! Right before the rain, perfect because the plastic is still off. I was out of radish seed though. I will have to go to the nice warm garden center tomorrow. Always a good reason to go out for coffee and cake... i mean seeds.

I will try the radishes again, you did a video a while ago about growing trays but all I got was green tops, I will give it another go in cooler weather and not feed them
