Nice.... Heading out now to thin. Thanks!

this was a good video. I have always had luck with radishes even when I had difficulty growing other plants like spinach. I just pull mine out every so often but from now on I'll trim. My Life Hack Blog ( https://krystalbrownblog.wordpress.com)

Radish sprouts are always such a delicious treat and almost always the first true taste of the season's garden. I absolutely love them. Rarely do they make it back inside to be put into my salad - I eat them right up while I'm thinning them. :)
-
I did not know you could eat the tops, I just started thinning my radishes tonight. I'm defiantly eating the tops now!

Hi Sheryl,I really like the 10"? tubs you planted your radishes in, where did you get them and were they expensive? I never see anything like theses at the garden centers. They look like really good quality and would last a long time. Thanks- edit: OK I JUST READ YOUR COMMENTS BELOW ABOUT THE TRAYS.

Great tip!

If you add the seeds to fine propagating sand in a jar, then shake it up. Then you can sprinkle it along your rows, which will help to spread them out then they will only need to be thinned out a little.

I had not seen this video before Sheryl so I have only just watched it.
The trays look good what are they ? I want to try and get some over here.
I think I am signed in under my new channel, there are no videos on this one yet but will be very soon so please feel free to sub.
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and Happy new year to you and yours.
Thanks for the great videos and keep up the good work

I guess if you eat them it won't hurt so much. I don't like thinning although I know its good for the plants. Nice videos, I just subbed.
-
great tips thinning is always a hard thing to do I hate killing a plant on purpose lol

Hi Sheryl...your soil looks awesome and full of compost. I like the idea of using the trimmings in your salad. I'm going to try this now that my garden is wrapping up and I have some room. We've had 7 days of 90+ degree temps so I hope it works! I'm going to try your umbrella method. Thanks for the video. Rick

Just leaned something, thank you!

Thanks very much for that good tip on how to thin Radishes.

I did this just two days ago! I actually did pull them, albeit very slowly, and I hope the ones left continue well. I wanted to eat them, but realised I had sprayed them with a leafminer solution. I'll admit I washed them anyway and gently chewed on one or two. Incredible flavour!
