Rabbits in the Garden
Tips, Tricks
Every method of getting rabbits out of your garden is intended to make the environment uncomfortable for the rabbits. Whether it be a store-bought deterrent, cayenne pepper sprinkled around, owning dogs, or your constant presence. My next move may be to place a small radio out there, set on an AM "talk radio" station playing on low. Honestly, I can't be in the garden 24 hours a day, and this radio trick was suggested to me by a gentleman at Animal Control who I called for advice. Looks like they have been there for a while. I keep Liquid Fence on hand and pour it or water down in the holes. They will make another exit to get away. Then pack down the holes that you poured the stuff down. I don't have a bottom on my raised beds so I had to get the point across that they weren't welcomed in the beds very quickly. Stay on it whatever you decide because 2 quickly turn into 6 and so on.

Rabbits tend to their babies only twice a day to nurse, so hitting the beds probably isn't bothering mama. The only deterrent I know of that works is proper fencing. It cost us a couple thousand to do, but since we literally eat out of our backyard, it was necessary. Hope you find a permanent solution.
