Glad to see I didn't just murder my squash

You've got a gnome infestation breaking out there! LOL Very helpful video, I subscribed. Have you ever tried the cocozelle zucchini? I grew it last year, and it grew huge and stayed super tender-just melted in the mouth. Most of those I harvested were a foot long or longer. Best zucchini I ever ate.

My plants had 2 zucchinis and hail came through and the fruit got nicks in them but are still growing are they okay to keep growing without anything eating them, or rotting

Thanks for the vid and BTW Love the NC flag! Go heels :)

Is it safe to prune a few healthy ones if it's blocking sun from the veggie?
-
Very helpful. First time growing zucchini. Thanks!

thank you! great demonstration!

What is the earliest u can begin trimming? The leaves are already blocking other plants. There are big beautiful flowers but no zucchini yet.

My zucchini gets about one and a half inches long then rots off. why?
-
Thanks very nice like it :)

This is my first time growing squash and I should have watched your video much sooner. Tomorrow morning I'll go out and prune mine. I had no idea they would get so big. My yellow squash did dismally and I'll replace it tomorrow along with the pruning.

that was not a fire fly, those are very nice looking plants . Are you not worried about the squash bugs traveling through the stem seems like it would be a straw like tunnel to the roots />?
-
Thank you I was worried about the variegated look of my leaves now I know they're.
-
Sounds good! Thanks so much for watching and commenting.

I found your video so impressive with zucchini well grown and nice healthy plants, sure it will bear more zucchini for cooking.... I am a follower....

Thank you for watching! I am not sure what zone you are in, but zuccinni need about 50 days to produce and those days need to be warm. Try to search for a garden planting guide for your area on google. Good luck!

Nice plants! Do you think the last week of July/first of August is too late to start some plants from germination in Tennessee?
-
Will have to do this to my pattypan. She is looking so sad right now.
-
I have never had that problem, but I think that could certainly happen. I would trim them as close to the base as you can, that would probably help. Thanks for watching!

Hi, this is my second year growing squash so Im still very new. My squash has going crazy this year. Amazing growth and lots of fruits. But someone told me about clipping the leaves, that bugs can crawl in the tuber stems after trimming. Has anyone had this problem?
