Propagating Jade Plant From Leaf Cuttings Part02: Plant Update
Tips, Tricks
After a few months, the leaves finally started to sprout new shoots. I started with a few leaves, but they were taking up too much space, so I removed them leaving only 2. This experiment took quite some time, but it's since they required very little work, it's very well worth it. If you have not seen the previous video, please click on link below. 😢 My stupid Chihuahua bit up and destroyed my jade plant but luckily I had the leave cuttings in another pot. I pray it grows like this one did in a few months! Thank you so much for your videos

Hello! Thanks for your great videos. I have three jade plants that started when the last three leaves fell onto the dirt from trying to root a clipping. My questions is the three plants are just growing tall in a single trunk, I've been pinching the top new shoots but the plant is not sending out new branches. It just keeps growing upright. Any suggestions

<3 it looks so nice, congrats :)

this is great! I had a beautiful Jade plant but all of a sudden all the leaves began dropping off now I'm lucky if there are 5 leaves left. I'm going to try this method with the remaining leaves. May I ask what kind of soil do you use? I've had some issues with a specific brand, looking to try something new. thanks

Loved the videos--I watched the first one and the updated video of the Jade plant. Very Nice! A friend of mine just gave me a Jade plant--and I'm so excited to plant it. Will keep you posted. Thanks for sharing and the update.

It looks like the one large left on the bottom has a fungus. Wipe it off with a Q-Tip dipped in alcohol.

excume, ¿How it is called this plant?
-
It's NOT "CLONING"....it's called "PROPAGATION" (starting a new plant from rooting cuttings that you take from the adult plant). Nomenclature is important.

Hi friend,
Can you tell how often you water, temperature level and sunlight/bright place?
any recommendations will help because my jade tree isn't vvery well :(
thanks! -
I'm surprised you haven't been turned on to hydroculture. I don't even have any soil remaining in my house. When I buy a new plant I immediately convert them. Soil-less is the way to go.

Is it as good as Aloe Vera to eat ~ It must be sour and full of gel ? I bet you can let your Cat munch on it ...

you sound like you are cute. you should show your face.

Did you use anything for humidity? I am using a bag and an elastic band to preserve the moisture, but I'm uncertain if this will aid in the plants rooting. I found 5 jade plant leafs on the floor, when I stumbled across my old jade plant, dead on the floor. It must have fell and been destroyed by the glass pot shattering. Anyway, as you can tell, I need these cuttings to root. The plant is precious to me, since it belonged to my great nan. Is there anything I can do to make the chances of at least one rooting more likely? Thank you for your time.
