Propagating Illinois Everbearing Mulberry
Tips, Tricks
This video shows the process of propagating Illinois everbearing mulberry trees using softwood cuttings and a mist irrigation system. The process involves taking cuttings during the summer, dipping the cutting in rooting hormone, and putting the cutting into a soil that drains very well. Then you mist the leaves every five to ten minutes during daylight hours. The Galcon programming video is located here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EAAROpdjyIk

nice instructional video on cutting propagation. Question for you...you're planting these in August, how long do they sit in the sand till you replant in soil? Do they have enough room to establish a nice root system without tangling into the neighboring cuttings? Thanks :)
