Doesn't that the iron that has rusted are in the form of ferric ions? Does the iron in this form available to plants?

But this is not dangerous for plants? Cause this scouring pads always contacted with chemical (Soap and something like that).

ALSO TRY USEING STINGING NETTLE PUT IRON BACK INTO THE SOIL THAT WAS NEVER THERE BEFORE. SOME WOMEN USE IT AS A TEA TO HELP IRON LEVELS AFTER A HEAVY MENSTRUAL CYCLE. GOOD TO PLANT NEAR TOMATOES ALSO KEEPS THE BURGLARS AWAY

I have an old sos pad going rusty but am afraid it may still have some soap in it, what will happen if I use it and there is some soap in it?

That was a teaspoon of kelp extract? look like a 1/4 cup.

Or just use some multipurpose fertilizer because you will eventually get other deficiencies too like Magnesium,nitrogen etc.

Also i heard using galvanised nails would work by placing them straight into soil around the plant.. Are u sure it's even iron def.. Looks like mg

they are pretty much the same thing, iron oxides so it should have the same effect except you probably have less rust per tonne. However dunno if it will work a lot of deficiencies and root problems and over watering seem to have similar symptoms. I see a lot of people recommending solutions but none saying I did this or and it worked!! Nothing much seemed to work for my tobacco plants apart from doing nothiing - lol.
