The bulbs have a light brown papery stuff that surround them. Do you remove that before putting them in the forcing vase? Many thanks

Any thoughts on best fertilizer that isn't store bought? Doing a limited budget thing here, and I know certain plants respond well to things like egg shells, coffee grinds, the water left over from a can of tuna , etc.
Ant help would be appreciated! Thank you for this simple & easy to understand Vid:) Well Done Mr. Moss ! -
I LOVE YOU WILL MOSS!

Yes you can, but it's best about October to December.... keep the frost away from the bulbs

I just purchased some marked down daffodils. Can I plant them now so they will come up next spring. Some are still flowering. Thanx.

Item 2290-Miracle-Gro 6 lbs Organic/Natural Flower and Vegetable Granules would be the best for her tulips due to the organic nature and slow release of the product, it will feed the roots for up to 2 months. Thanks! -Lowe's

Bone meal is best for planting bulbs, as it it helps get the roots going. But really you don't need amy fertilizer, unless your soil is sandy. The time to feed bulbs is just after they finish flowering (but not bone meal) if you want them to flower again.

hi, there so many kind of fertilizer in the store, which one should i choose for planting my tulips in the fall? thankss!!
-
Yes, you can plant bulbs that are not sprouting.
-
I believe daffodil bulbs reproduce bulbs in the soil while it's now sprouting, and it may take a couple springs for them to sprout ( for the new bulbs). Of course, daffodil bulbs only sprout and bloom during spring, so you got to plant them in the fall, in well drained soil of course, otherwise they'll rot.

What happen if my bulbs aren't sprouting? Can I still plant them anyway?

Yeah, I heard "place the balls in the ho"???? And "if you have a big enough ho, you can place a hundreds"
