Sometimes a neat piece of greenhouse equipment comes along that I'm happy to adopt because it makes doing a job more efficient. That's what I discovered with tomato grow pots. Using them for planting tomatoes enables the garden compost to be earthed up around the stem base to encourage more roots to emerge from the stem and also facilitates the efficient watering of the tomato plants. Hello Laurence, I live in the states and can't seem to locate the tomato grow pots you are using to press into the bags. What are these called exactly or do you know of a supplier that carries these in the USA? I just discovered your videos recently, really like them. Thanks for sharing!

How often do you water and with what mixture of tomato fertiliser? What variety of tomatoes were these? Great video nice and clear! Am definitely going to try this.

I noticed you earlier noted that the reason you grow in grow bags in the green house is to avoid pests, please tell me how they get pollinated.

Those pots don't seem to be sold here in USA, I emailed the company and they said they
had no dealer over here in USA.
Not sure what the big deal is about that two rim boat anyway. Can't see what watering
on outer rim and fertilze in interrim make a big deal. Just put the plant in the soil or maybe
a peatmoss pot from transplant.

Nice instructional video! Thanks. I think, the main benefits of these grow pots are - they look neat and make it easy for watering. Other than that we don't really need these for encouraging plants to grow more roots as we could easily achieve that by planting longer lengths of tomato stems in the soil if we plant them more horizontally in the bag. The plant parts that are out side the bag straighten themselves up in no time due to their natural tendency to grow upwards.
