I started my seeds a bit too early this year, but that doesn't mean I won't get great tomatoes this summer. With a little extra care, they should turn out fine. Remember that tomatoes don't like temps below 55 degrees. They will refuse to grow no matter how sunny it is. They won't die, though. They'll just wait until it's warmer. If the nighttime temps should dip down to around 40 make sure to cover the plants. You can use row cover, a bed sheet, even a plastic shower curtain will do. For companion planting-basil, onion, spinach, lettuce all grow well near tomatoes. Do not plant tomatoes near fennel or potatoes. I hope you enjoyed the video!
