Thanks Rick. I didn't notice any pests, but maybe they did eat the silks. I did see a lot of ants crawling on the corn stalks though. Thank you for the tip on the mineral oil! I will try that next time. Thank you again! Dom :)

Hi pickerick, Do you ever have issues with corn not pollinating? If so, do you have any tips? Thanks for your help. Dom.

You would like my neighbor, he's crazy about his Silver Queen Corn. I like the yellow or bi-colored stuff. My first crop was planted on Friday 13th last year, but we're gonna be a little bit later this year.

Well done Rick! I am hoping that the ground dries out this weekend enough so that I can get my corn in too! Chuck

I can't wait to see the updates on the corn!! I wish I have the land to grow some. LOL

the rule here is to plant corn when the Ash and Maples bud out. That will happen in another month. we have had 4 inches of rain in the last 2 1/2 days. this morning it was covered with half an inch of snow. It is Still April in the corn patch here :)

That corn is going to be so good! Wonderful garden! Do you have a lot of deer interference?
