Planting Seeds that require Stratification
Tips, Tricks
I planted some Echinacea purpurea seeds. Also know as Coneflower. The seeds need to be subjected to a period of cold to help with seed germination.

hi have you got any experience with bilberry seeds stratification which
require about 90 days cooling period. would you use wet paper towels or
sprinkle them on top of acidic medium (eg fine peat moss) and slightly
press them down? -
I don't do bees. The start-up cost and I am very allergic to the stings. Best wishes Bob.

I've looked into bees too to improve my overall pollination. I also chose not to do that, but I have noticed my Honeyberry/Haskap bushes are attracting more bees than ever before.
With fridge stratification I find that using a good medium is the most important thing. I ONLY use pure vermiculate now as that's worked best for me after failing with other stratifying mediums for several years.
Best of luck with yours!
