Hi, I have got the canes standing at around 6ft heigh and am intending to cut the tops of the beans once they reach the tops of the canes. This process of cutting the main shoots off causes multiple side shoots which then in-turn provides more flowers and then ultimately more fruit later in the season. I am confident that the frame, and the plants, will be fine. Jack

Awesome Jack nice and clear looking forward to when you show us your harvest of them have a good weekend

HI, nice and simple advice, but I suggest your canes will be inadequate for the growth. 6 to 8 feet of height is needed for good vigorous growth of runners, even in this late poor weather. Hope they do alright anyway.
