5. @Allen2045 Well, we're finding out you like okra, huh? Peas...we KNEW YOU liked them! You stated prior you could eat a dern quart jar full right by yourself!! We took it upon ourselves to figure out that yes, ole Paula may indeed like a pea or two! LOL! Thanks for watching Paula, we appreciate it. 6. @Allen2045 Hey Paula...thanks for watching! Try out the Clemson spineless or the Cowhorn. I believe you'd like either. I've never tried the Burgandy, but I'm sure we'd like it. (I would anyway...you call it food...I call it GOOD!) You take good care, okay?
7. @mhpgardener Nope...we tried to stay out of "THE FRIED" okra, but...we couldn't stand the pressure. It kept whispering, Dub...hey Dub...so , we fried a mess...and loved it! LOL. Yeah man, we love it too Bobby, but pickled it is for awhile yet...You guys have a great weekend as well, and God Bless ya buddy! Yeah, Deb and I have gotten the hang of those dern mater sandwiches now. She sits across from me and she eats of one side of the sandwich, while I eat from the other end. Easier to hold!
8. @dianemummvideos I forgot...the shorter guy is Dale and he works for us on the place. The other guy is our son Mark, whom we refer to as "Red." He doesn't particularly care to be called Red...which is exactly why we do it! It's GREAT to be the parent, huh?? Red runs our paving business, and every once in awhile he makes the mistake of stopping by...in the garden he goes! Actually he is a tremendous help to Deb and I, but we try not to let that out...to him anyway!! LOL!
9. @dianemummvideos Good morning Diane! Yes ma'am, winter is just around the corner, much closer for you though. If you guys like greens you ought to try some mustards...we love them. We asked them at the feed store for catchup and A-1 seeds as well, but they informed me they only carried mustard! LOL. 10. so who are the guys planting ? Never planted mustard greens ..Just moved our cows off our pasture, not much eating anymore and it was time.. weather changing getting cooler here , winter is just around the corner.. you have some really nice property ..
11. Haha..just couldn't resist the fried okra ! I had some for dinner tonight. We made a ton of the stuff this year, both the Clemson Spineless and Burgandy. Being in FL, ya'll should be ok on the mustard. Nice herd of cows too. Ya'll have a great weekend down there. And be careful with those mater sandwiches. Make sure you have some help picking those things up. ;-)
