How often do you water Lavender, and Rosemary?
-
Hope that will help and soon you get the beautiful garden you dream!

Yes I can buy round up at my local diy store, thanks for the advice.

Sorry you are having such a hard time with weeds, they are hard to eliminate, have you try "round up"?, (I don't know if it's available to you in England).. Hope you get to cover your old soil with good compost, that will help get rid of the weed.

Thank you for asking, well I haven't planted them out yet, because my front garden needs a lot of work doing to it, such as completely covering the old soil with good quality compost and then planting grass seeds, and I'm still trying to stop those friggin weeds from growing everywhere, I thought I got rid of them last year, but I also killed the grass in the process, and now the weeds are coming back again, but only patches of grass are growing.

I am wondering how your lavanders are doing?, Hope they are doing well

You can plant them out now, they will get their roots settled in before winter. Autumn was always the traditional time for planting before the advent of containerized plants. You could wait till spring if you are happy to mind them over winter. If doing this don't allow pots to freeze in the winter. Don't know of any insects that actually eat lavender they may just be attracted to a scented plant.

I live in London and I've started growing some lavender munstead strain (aka) Lavandula compacta perennial in pots since June with good compost and liquid plant food, now they're about 4 - 5 inchs high, when do I plant them in the ground and how do I stop insects from eating the leaves, they're annoying pests, lol.
