Great how to video. I started my thyme in January and just kind of left if for awhile. the plant has just now started to get going. now the trick is to keep harvesting so it is forced to grow instead of flower!

Hey there! I was wondering about hardening off plants. I have a small, four tier greenhouse and I have tomatoes and peppers in it. Do I have to harden them off before setting them out in the ground? They are outside. ????? Thanks for your input.

Last year during late May I tossed some basil seeds in with my tomato plants in containers and never grew. October came and I yanked all of my tomato plants to throw out. It wasn't until a couple weeks later after I threw the tomato plants away I finally saw a big basil plant! That was really strange, eh. It didn't grow until then. I had my pots stacked up with soil still left in with some of them. I'm going to sow some more today. 11 days so far and my mint hasn't emerged. sigh.

Scott, I have another silly question for you that it hard for me to even word. It was noticed that you planted, what to me, is a lot of seeds in each container---for the older seeds I understand why. But when these all start to germinate do you thin them out and if so at what point in time? Do you thin when the seedlings first start to emerge or do you wait until it's time to transplant them into a larger container? Thank you, Wayne
