Hi I am in a tropical climate and I have received some artichoke seeds. Do the seeds need to be Vernalized? Vernalization is the process of chilling seeds or crowns at temperatures
between 34 degrees and 50 degrees, which causes plants to flower
earlier. Is this required of the seeds in order to germinate? -

Very nice. I planted one about 30 years ago and we get buds every year. A few we let flower because they are a lovely shade of electric blue. I've uploaded a video of how they grow over time and how to pick and prepare them, including a killer dipping sauce. Hope you'll take a look some time.
