Love your video, Nicole. Tell me, do you have a list of the best herbs that you actually use most often? In other words, how do you decide what ratios to plant? I'm sure I'd use basil with my garden tomatoes dozens of times more often than I'd use an herb like, say, lemongrass, coriander or lavender. I might experiment with a few exotics but I wouldn't want to waste space that I could have used for more popular and useful herbs like oregano or cilantro. What do you think are the basic twelve for a home herb garden?

Hello Nicole Heart my name is Dee, and I enjoyed watching your tutorial on planting a herb garden, thinking hard about doing my own garden but in Florida where I live the sun can get aggressively hot and scorching and in afraid that it will damage my herbs, there's not much shade in my back yard. Any advice you can offer that will be helpful?

I'm transplanting my herbs to whiskey barrels from their own small raised bed. I just threw everything in original with no attention to how things grow up/sprawl plus what's a perennial or not. I will need to plan more this time to put the taller things at the back!
