Great Video! Do you have a chlorine filter on the hose you are watering with? I also live in Tempe my tap water usually has high chlorine levels in the tap water? I'm under the impression the chlorine will kill the microbes in the soil. Is that correct?

Hey Jake, how well would your layered soil mix work in a Southern California climate?
Thanks -
Hey where is your Place ? I want to help you to clean and planting on your garden , Hahahaha I love gardening ,

No disrespect but you're the hottest vegetarian that I've ever seen in my life! Damn!
-
Jake, not mix all of it up in a wheelbarrow? That way you can apply it and it will all be evenly distributed.

Pretty little tree there. Kumquat?

Hi, this is awesome I am Egyptian and we plant the same thing and call it molhya and cook it as a soup. It is amazing as a fresh soup. I can not believe that an american knew about it. My husband is american and he loved the soup that i made from that plant. I also planted it in my garden every year. if you don't mind me asking where you got your first set of seeds. I have to get my family in Egypt to send it to me.

Great video! You are so fun to watch! I just started a garden and I'm so excited! I've actually created a cost analysis spreadsheet to track my garden expenses, retail cost of produce, and how much I harvest to see exactly how much I save my family in cost of produce! I'm trying to share with as many people as possible because gardening is so much fun and can save money too! I'm trying to soak up as much knowledge as I can and share what I learn with others too! Thanks for sharing!!

Have you had varmit problems cutting off & eating tomatoe, pepper,& marigold plants? if so how did you take care of it?
-
thanks for the intro to Egyptian Spinach. Sounds like a great option for me in Florida. Reminds me of a tree collard. I don't understand why you said pepper roots are invasive. They look quite compact, when you pulled it up. Your channel is great; learning a lot!

Yes , they protect each other from insects and diseases . Very good , ,Because the agronomy ,has it backwards everything , they peel the earth from its skin the soil become sterile infertile , also the flavor of the vegetables is according of the richness of nutrients and minerals , otherwise they will be "Bitter" we should imitate on how the forest fertilize in fall . and in layers and layers over and over. all this according to Paul Gautschi from "Back to Eden Garden". .
