We'd like to do this next year as well so I really appreciate you sharing this information. A few questions please...how do you make sure that water line/valves/etc dont freeze in the winter? What type of blueberries did you plant and where did you buy them?

Try using staples for ground fabric to hold your drip. also to cap the end cut a small pice and fold many times and insert it back to the piece then you can easily flush lines :-)

check out permaculture methods which include things like: underplanting with strawberries, cardboard and deep woodchip mulch....things like that. work smarter, not harder.

Does that wood chip spread some disease? If it's healthy I would use it from right after planting the berries. Let the mycorrhizal fungi and other good staff thrive.
Good luck with your project. :) -
