Plant Showcase - Impatiens - as part of the expert series by GeoBeats. This is a great example of an Impatien. Impatiens are annual flowers in the Northeast. They are really easy to maintain, they just need a little bite of light, a lot of water, they do like water, and they just grow and profusely flower all spring and summer long, they are just a great plant. Another great thing about these is we plant these a lot in tree wells. Like for instance, in New York City, we plant these in the base of a tree. So when we are watering the tree, we are watering these flowers, and they look awesome. This is a great plant in a container like this, it is a great plant in the bed, it is a great plant somewhere where you need a color and a shady garden. But overall I think this is a wonderful plant.
