Hello, I tried to split my day lily today but since I didn't have the proper tools, I was not able to get the root out. I got the bottom of the plant where it it white. I noticed in your video you said that people like to take "3 or 4 (of the leaves / lilies) and still make them grow". I planted the lilies but they look like limp noodles. Will they grow??? Or do I need to start re-digging? Thanks for your help!
