what are your thoughts on cutting back the ratty, leggy foliage after the blooms have finished? I heard it was a good way to get some new foliage before late fall and winter, for a cleaner, more dressed up look. good idea or no?

Thanks! I realize this is an older video, but still good solid advice, and I appreciate that you posted these tips about daylillies. I think I'll go divide mine this week, since it won't be too hot here in the Fraser Valley, and then the roots will grow strong before winter. Thanks again!
