leaf miners. what can I do to stop them? I tried spraying that dead bug organic stuff and no dice. I pruned away all the infected leaves and these little critters still come back. Any solutions would be welcomed. Thanks.

Ray I had the same problem with 2 of my Poblano pepper plants for a couple of weeks now where the new leaves shoots are curly and wrinkly then I googled that adding epsom salt to the soil help with the situation and I should prune the shoots. I did with one of the plant several of days before this and then I saw you video today and I did over water them! Omg will my plants will be okay now? I wished I watch your video earlier, it took 2 months for me to grow them :((

Hi Ray, I was wondering if you knew why my ghost pepper seedlings leaves are turning black. The embryonic leaves started getting very small black spots then it started filling the leaf. The first true leaves are turning black now also. It is like looking at a purple/black leaf. I can't figure out what it needs. Hope you can help?

Keep an eye out for broadmites, you need at least 50x scope to even see them and they cause very similar symptoms to Oedema in peppers. One of the main vectors for broadmite transmission is whitefly, they are so small they cling to the legs of the whitefly and hitch a ride. The main damage from broadmites is that they inject a toxin into the plant whilst they feed, causing distortion and virus looking issues especialy at the growth tips. They only tend to be in warmer coastal areas though

I´m having a bad time with leaf miners in my basil and mint. I was told that neem oil could resolve it, cause it would keep the little flies away. Did you know if taht will work?? I bought yesterday and will use it tomorrow, Thank´s for your advice!!

Jiffy pots have meant certain death for my pepper plants. Don't know why but the seeds start much better in a high grade potting mix in a flat container. And the jiffy pots do NOT degrade. Be sure to cut the "pot" off before planting as it will stunt the root growth of the tomatoes too. There is another video about peppers and jiffy pots on YouTube, forget the name, just search for it. Good luck with your plants!!!
