In this Path of Exile build guides I walk you through the Spark Scion build (Voltaxic Rift & Wand Versions) that I used to get started in Perandus League. At the time of making this build guide all up this build cost me less than 2 Exalts worth of gear (a bit over if you include gems) - which is insane because it's one of the strongest builds I have ever played. Great for hardcore in the highest levels of content (test in Tier 13, 14 and 15 Maps) and even great for Atziri (tested by viewers). This build makes most of the games content feel quite literally like a walk in the park. Just a quick question that screws with me.

You recommend pairing spark with controlled destruction, removing 100% crit chance. And there's Elemental Overload in the passive tree you've chosen that gives 40% ele damage for 8 secs per crit, but removes crit multiplier.

Between these effects, what is the point in using Elemental Overload if it has no chance to proc?

still viable?

I have to ask why it would not be better to do this with Spell damage included, rather then Projectile damage or Chaos damage. Because I suspect spell damage would equate to each would it not?

I got a few questions about this build.
1: why don't you head into CI?
2: does this build still work in the most current patch?
3: I was looking at the leveling tree and saw you got jewel sockets pretty early, is that the right thing to do?
4: is there ever a time when I would want to take off the bow so I am not doing chaos dmg? I heard there is a boss who is immune to chaos should I change weapons against them?
5: Also the bow says it converts 60% of the lightning dmg to chaos, does the 40% not converted still hurt you on reflect maps?
6: why scion and not witch? Is it b/c of the longer duration nodes and ascendancy?
7: and I am a little worried about the extra 5% dmg taken from the berserker. Not really a question and I know u cover it in the video just worries me a little bit.

Sorry for so many questions but I am new to the game and got a free spider spark skin from the game for the holidays so i wanted to try spark out, I just know nothing about it.

can you post a build for scion of this for 2.5 breach league?

i miss this from perandus, would it still be good in breach?

As a new player, how long would this take to build up?

I don't recommend this build for anyone. It cannot do breaches, bosses etc etc after maps t10/t11 +. You won't be able to solo atziri, shaper, izaro and even bosses on maps. Very squishy character. With full recommended gear (belly,acuity, voltaxic, drillneck, capped resists, max hp as possible) still unplayable.

Still viable in 2.5?

Does it make a difference wether I build this on a Scion or a Witch? (apart from the different starting points on the passive tree of course, which hardly matters much come endgame, right? Or am I missing something?)

I wonder how many GPUs got wrecked with this build.

Will +lightning damage increase your chaos damage if using bow/quiver combo? Or am I better off using double wand since I have invested a lot already in +elemental and lightning damage.?

Fair warning, if you're planning on using the wand version of this build, be prepared to stack some Int on gear or in the passive tree. Top wands require 200+ and the tree, as it stands, falls short.

Quick question. How are you getting your frenzy charges? From the written guide I cannot figure it out and have not been getting them while playing it. Just reached level 65.
