Hello, I am starting in this game. When I play breaches the loot disappear after the breach closes. Am I doing something wrong?

Ziggy, noob question. As an Essence drain contagion witch, what are some good gems to start off with to quick level? You don't even get ED till after lvl 12 so no point there...Are there some really fast leveling gems that you switch out later for your main build?
P.S. Just started so have no currency, have never traded -

Hey Ziggy (or anyone else), would crit spark be a good idea, or is it a dead skill now? I'm not planning on doing T15 maps or anything, just a decent league starter with decent clear speed.

So how many uniques, etc. do you have in your stash tabs? Do you save a bunch for future builds, or do you sell them off as quick as possible and just buy what you need later? -
