Outdoor Soil vs Coco Hydroponics Vegetative Cycle Results
Tips, Tricks
Side-by-side results comparison of soil vs hydroponic growing techniques on outdoor homegrown cannabis. In this experiment I use FoxFarm Happy Frog and Ocean Forest soils and the CANNA Coco line of coco hydroponic growing products.

The plant on the right is getting more potassium from the coco medium. If you feed the soil plant 50% high p/k late flowering solution, you will get bigger stems and branches and a bigger plant. And lower the EC to a total of 0.4 plus water EC. The P will grow a large root system and help with the start of flowering.

What size are those pots

Imo, these experiments are meaningless! Ive grown in soil a long time, and took cuttings from same mother the same size and each one grow differently, some in hight some in width, some with more bud sites, so it dosnt all ways matter on what your using to compare the size and growth of two plants as they grow differently each time, like i said just imo!

the soil grown specimen appears to have more bud-sights thus I would consider it the better plant.

I grew 2 habanero plants last year in earth bucket set ups spent hundreds of dollars on canna nutrients it was crazy expensive finally had to give em tap water I mean they were drinking gallons a day. I had nutes left from an old indoor grow so no big deal, but never again outdoor coco they drink to much for my pockets.

FYI do not flush like that yo! Always use your nutrients until last 2 weeks before flush!
-
So how much of the nutrient solution are you feeding to each plant that size per day? Thanks.

It's a descent comparison. It's Fox Farms growing medium with Fox Farms nutrients vs. Canna growing medium with Canna nutrients. The only complaint I have is that neither are using the full line of nutrients per brand. So neither brand are showing their full potential. My two cents.. again

When you flush with coco, you never want to totally eliminate your Canna A&B. 2ml per gallon is about the equivalent to water. You should do a 2ml feeding once a week as a flush. Try using 33% perlight with your coco. Using hydro nuits on your soil plants will give you surprising results. Just depends if you have soft or hard water. That could be the next test! Make sure to get the whole Canna line for amazing results. PK, Boost and Rhizotonic. Grow on my friend!

The size/yield of a plant does not dictate the quality of the product. Garbage in = garbage out. It's now been scientifically confirmed that organic plants are up to 69% more nutrient dense than conventionally grown plants (grown using artificial fertilisers etc). This translates to more cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids etc.

hi guys, the greatest results that i've had was by following the Keiths Ponics Site (just google it) definately the most helpful course i've followed.
