Curious, and I know this will add costs to the hobby, but now that you have a place to grow all year round, have you checked into doing Aquaponics?

Awesome job. I can see that you guys put a good amount of money into this. Expensive crop, but i'm sure once, you guys get a system going; it worth it. I'll eventually do something similar to this, but i've dumped a lot of money on my garden\chicken coop\chicken moat.

With Brendan's building and heating skills, and your gardening expertise, you've got a fabulous sustainable food source all year round. Way to go! It'll only get better year after year.

You definitely have a jump start on the season ! As the years go by , you'll grow into greenhousing ;) * If you're a stingy planter, you'll have a lot more seeds to spread out over the season - plus, you'll be saving some root crops that sprout , like carrots, turnips . .. then grow those out for SEEDS ! Getting a 'double harvest' is always a benefit . . . save & trade your favorites with fellow gardeners , most are willing to give seeds & cuttings freely . . . it's the way of Mother Earth ! ! !
