OKRA - TRANSPLANTING INTO THE GARDEN [PART 2] and CUT WORM TIP (OAG 2015)
Tips, Tricks
This video is about transplanting okra into the garden and how to protect tender plants from being destroyed by cutworms. This is okra that I grew from seed, see my video on initial planting of the seeds at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t6EejqG1Xg0 Later in the season, when I have okra, I will upload a video on how to can okra in glass jars for frying later. Hey Charles. I planted okra on 2/1/16 in 6oz cups. I noticed you set the okra deep, will roots form on the stems? My okra is very leggy so I planned on setting them deep. You suggested I wait until mid April on my tomatoes and peppers, I suppose that goes for okra as well? Thanks Charles, Penny in Arab.
