I'd love to see these fancy pants no till city boys do it without spray and Monsanto. I could go on and on on this topic. I just shake my head and scoff at these "no till" guys. Their too damn lazy to get out and spend time on the tractor working their ground like they should. (There is a right and wrong time and way to till) They talk about organic matter building up on the surface.. Uhh what do ya think happens when you disc or plow it under.. it's sure a lot better to till under some green weeds than to let them sit out there on the surface fryed from the sun and spray.. And they talk about soil erosion!! That's a laughing frigging joke!! What do you see in a no till field when it doesn't have a crop in it.. you see Mr so called farmer runnin around with his scraper filling in all the washouts!! Our neighbor has no tilled his flat river bottom ground for over a decade and his fields are a damn LAKE when we get a three inch rain! It all soaks in on our side for some reason hahaha.. There just ain't enough room here for me to get through to these brainwashed so called no till farmers.. Just friggin put down the jug of chemical and show me true no tilling and quit polluting our ground water and sterilizing our soil..

no till can't work and made me in 50% loss , may be it does on over cultivated land but a vagine one don't and it should be called no till instaedy rest landtill .thanks

3-5 yrs, not in NW Kansas, been at it for 7 yrs and no difference with tilling neighbor.

No till has nothing to do with monsanto. In fact, it is often advocated by permaculturists. Stop using all caps.

Well, Skippy, you DESTROY soil structure when you till it. Get a clue.

STOP LISTENING TO MONSANTO! ITS AN EVIL COMPANY AND HAS THE MONOPOLY AND THIS GMO SEED IS POISON AS IT HAS ROUND UP WITHIN IT. MONSANTO WANTS MONEY AND HAS BRAINWASHED FARMERS INTO NO TILL. WHEN I WAS A KID IN THE 70S MY PARENTS AND I AND SIBLINGS WENT OUT AND WALKED BEANS AND GOT ALL THE WEEDS. WE NEVER USED ALL THESE SPRAYS. LETS GET BACK TO THIS AND END THE INCOME TAX TOO! WE ARE AWAKE.

IT's hard to OVER COME paid for DOGMA; I was screaming NO-TILL back in 1983 at OSU and was told I was crazy. YOU NEVER strip off your TOP-SOIL or use petroleum products. "The most dangerous creature on the face of the Earth, is an Educated Idiot."
