Found it.
Paprika is made from Capsicum Pepper.. 10-15 chili or red bell pepper plants stringing them and hanging them dry or use a dehydrator.. Must be totally dry. Dispose of stems, save seeds for next year, Break pepper into small pieces. Grind pepper into a powder form (can use blender), stored in an air-tight jar. -
What kind of pepper for make some paprika Powder?

Hi. Thank you for this information. I have a question though. Can I put my seeds into an envelope like they have in the stores and then put that envelope into a mason jar in the fridge for extra preservation?? My seeds have been sitting in a dish in the counter for days. Do you think they are still good? Thanks again.

Wow this was good, I didn't know that about banana peppers or general, I tried to save some chocolate bell peppers and they didn't germinate so I guess I didn't let them get ripe! Thanks a bunch!

When saving the seeds, in an airtight container or bag, should you put them in the refrigerator for the winter until you're ready to plant them in the spring. Thanks from SE Michigan.

Thanks Luke...I have peppers that's still on the bush turning red...can I just leave them there and save those seeds or do I have to pick them. I'm doing a garden take down and clean up for fall so I'll be pulling the bush down. Thanks again garden friend!

This seems like a bad idea to me. You are touching the peppers and seeds with your hands. If that was a hotter pepper you could burn your skin and later touch your eyes and then be in serious pain.
I cut the meat from the pepper leaving only the stem and seeds. Then let it dry. After it's dry you can pop them off with a knife. No touching, no burning eyes. -
Pepper seeds are super easy to save and I'm so thankful to have them!! We saved a few varieties 4 years ago and the seeds still have 100% germination rate. Even still, I saved more this year along with a few new varieties. SO nice to have on hand ... it's a blessing to not have to buy them any more!!
