MULCHING FOR WEED CONTROL IN GARDEN
Tips, Tricks
Using mulch for weed control whether it is chopped up leaves, compost or grass clippings is an effective way to control weed in your garden and flower beds. It blocks the sun from most emerging weeds and they die. During the season if we have to replant seeds we just move the mulch and plant the seeds. After the new plants grow we just bring the mulch back near the plants for weed control. It does work.

My son is fixin to love this...I need to start telling him to "dump the lawnmower" in the garden rows!! :) I just need to find a grass catcher to drag behind the riding lawnmower to do it! I thoght about doing this but was scared we would put TOO many seeds/weeds into the garden that we are trying to get rid of!

Bernard, the more I see of your garden the more impressed I get. I can learn a lot from you, I'm going to try the grass clipping approach. I have a spare mower with a bagger that I can use to collect the clippings. Good stuff.

Very nice, your mulch seems to work much better than mine, I got to mulch heavier I suppose. Your mulch is much denser and works better. Nice video, thanks for sharing Bernard. I hope you all are doing well!

Grass clippings don't make more grass in your garden? Your garden looks fantastic. I am not doing too well in my garden. This year I just can't stand the heat and humidity. It almost makes me sick. I am hoping I will get better with the heat, but I don't know.
