Here is a challenge for you Rainbow Gardens: Try growing ginger / turmeric. Do a search for Health Benefits of Turmeric to see why I suggest this. Then do a Turmeric Paste search for an ideal way to consume it.

What size containers do you suggest using for most herbs. Love your videos.

what do you do with all the herbs I want to grow my own herbs but don't know what to do with all of them lol

+Rainbow Gardens Question for ya: Are you able to overwinter any of your herbs (I mean - outside) or do you start everything over every year? And.. How do you cope with bugs with the plants you overwinter indoors?

We're doing our first garden this year including herbs (everything in containers) and I'm curious about the perennials. Our lemon balm is looking a little sad and I know it's one that will take over (as I think all of them probably would if given the chance) could it be that the pot is just too small? Do you have to split up those type or do they self-regulate their size to the container?

Nice variety of herbs! Rosemary doesn't do well inside my house over winter either, just to dry inside our heated house.

Hi Donna! Do you reuse the soil from your pots? Its my first time gardening and my cilantro bolted because I didn't give it enough water lol but I'm growing more. I was wondering if I can re use my potting mix and if I can, how many times can I do that?

Donna, where did you get your lemon grass? I love it for tea and has such a healing effect for my allergies. Great looking deck with your herbs, I love it. Kim
Your lime looks great after 2 years. I started dwarf lemon trees from seed, they all came up (16 of them) I hope at least one or two make it to the size of your lime, great job. -

Soooooooooooo Nice !
Thank you -
Great job with the herbs. Do you store them in the garage over the winter ? What is the coldest temperature they can tolerate ? Right now I plant my herbs in my square foot garden but the pots look like a better option.

Your herbs are looking beautiful. It is very nice that you have shown us the progress of all your herbs over the last few years. Gardeners need to be reminded that perennial herbs need space and you have great examples of giving the herbs large pots to grow in. Thank you for sharing. By the way, I just planted my Lemon Grass down in my bog garden, directly in the soil. I am anxious to see how it does.
