Tips, Tricks
This is approximately 3-4 weeks before my last spring frost date. Join me for a walk through my spring garden at my home. I will show you real examples, "hands - on" tips and tricks, to get your garden off to a good start. I have many things you may like to know such as my 2 favorite herbs to grow in the spring, they're SOW easy to grow when sown directly into the ground because they do not transplant well. We'll take a look at a super easy and inexpensive way to repurpose some every day items to sow seeds into your square foot garden too! I have much more to share with you and I hope you find the information helpful and enjoyable. Likes and shares are always very much appreciated. Enjoy!

Donna, I found a onion sprouting in my cupboard, so I planted it. Then the onion split into 4 plants, but don't know if there will be a onion ball under ground. Have you ever planted and harvest onions this way?

Good tips, Donna! I am in the process of planting the raised beds right now! Man I have had a time with digging out grubs, which is dragging out the process, and killing my back! Video coming in a day or two! Happy spring, my friend!

It's so good you plan your activities around the rains, makes it easy not watering and plants do love rain. Do you even need to water after the snow melts? It must replenish the ground for a while?
It's just soothing to watch your videos, all the ruffled feathers settle down:) . Next 3 to 4 months is video watching time for me till I restart my new season again in August 2015. I'm eagerly awaiting your year round lettuce growing system video. -
Keep kickin butt good stuff Rainbow!

Have been busy for the past two days and our garden is now planted. It's not nearly as big as yours and we are dealing with raised beds. Everything looks so pretty! Here in Alabama the trees have their leaves and our frost date is Aprl15 (I checked the 10 day forecast and we were good to go). I enjoy gaining knowledge from you--thank you so much for sharing with us.
