Minecraft tutorial automatic slime slimeball farm Slime Mod(1.9): http://chunkbase.com/mods/slime-mod Slime Finder(1.8/1.10/1.11): http://chunkbase.com/apps/slime-finder This is a tutorial for an automatic slime farm. It uses giant spawning platforms in slime chunks to spawn as many slimes as possible. The slimes jump off of the platforms into a water canal that leads them to the collection chamber. They then either drown or get chopped down to size by a lava blade to be collected. This is a great way to kill slimes and gather slimeballs in your world for making slime blocks, sticky pistons and leads. It is completely automatic. Slimes will only spawn if they are further than 24 blocks from a player, so keep that in mind while building this in your world. Intro Song: Nicolai Heidlas - Summertime (redux)

does this work in the nether so you can farm magma cubes, or do magma cubes really just spawn anywhere in the nether?

Great video: Within the first 30 seconds I realized this is exactly what I need. This should make short work of the sticky pistons required by GruvaGuy's Iron Beast farm... and a green sphere launcher :D

I made this farm 2 times. First one was not very effective -I think because I did not lit up caves around, but second (2 slime chunks together) - works perfectly!!! Thanks for video!

Where do you have to be in order for them to spawn, like do you need to be x amount of blocks near/away the chunk?

Xaero's Minimap has a thing that colours slime chunks in green on the minimap.
There's so many slime chunks in my world like every 2 chunks there's a slime chunk

will this work in multiplayer survival? my place is in swamp

Does it work with the swamp biome spawning?

How efficient is this farm in regards to how many % of the slimeballs get burnt by the lava?

I just used minimap to find chunks
