Minecraft 1.11: Powerful Guardian Multiplayer XP Farm Concept
Tips, Tricks
Pretty much unlimited XP with a new multiplayer XP concept farm. With only a pair of users, the farm generates 600 thousand xp/h and 275 thousand drops/h with looting, however players can spawn as many guaridans as they want by using accounts to increase mobcaps. With only one active player, and one player in the overworld, this allows to supply with max 180k/h xp for 3.3 players at a time. Short, ad hoc video, I hope you don't mind the casual style. -------------- Recorded with Minecraft 1.11.2 Vanilla and 1.11 Carpet Mod Servers. Carpet Mod for 1.11.2 with a few new additions coming soon. Can you do a tutorial

What a fantastic idea!

Amazing work. I would like to see you put you effort into building smaller scale farms as well. Farms that would take up less time to build, but that would still be very effective.
-
gnembon, what good mob farm would you recommend for 1.11 for drops? I have seen several designs from water flushing to one-tick observer string push off systems (I call it that :D ).
But, which design would be best for a practical player. I don't afk much so I need a design that provides quite the bit of drops. Preferably 20-25k /hour or more, without too much effort like those designed by ilmango (HUGE).
However, if you can do a fun farm episode explaining these concepts and efficiency, it would be much appreciated. Your episodes are always detailed to precision so I understand making these episode takes weeks of research and work.
Thanks for Reading :D
Have a good day. -
Why do passive mobs spawn on top of woodland mansions?
-
The farm is soo fast that its hard to kill alle of them HAHA... gg gnembon_mc
-
it's really funny that the gurdians fall on a block and then they fall on the lava by other gurdians
-
I don't see any soul sand anywhere and that will prevent the guardians from flopping around
-
Is this faster than pigman farms?
-
Very nice! I like the idea of using multiple players to achieve things in a better way compared to just using a single account. If there only was a way to turn villagers into afk players that could perform a simple task.
The mob cap is really per dimension? Sometimes I get the impression that it's not the case. -
hay i was wondering i am trying to get the carpet mod and im not sure if it will work with craft bukkit do you know if it will
-
I knew right from the beginning you were going to use portals. Silly question: How did you highlight the entity count ? Video editing or a mod ?
-
pc specs?
-
the casual style is nice. doesn't sound like you read from a script. your description looks a bit broken btw
-
On console editon there are dropped xp limits and a relatively small mob cap compared to computer version, hopefully that shouldn't mess up with one of your guardian farms, im making the + plus shape one in my console world.

For singleplayer, wouldnt max drops be achiveable with looting3 and ghast pushers
-
Ahh, the naturally peaceful nature of the nether... wonderful work again. Always loving it!
-
well not terribly useful i think. you normally just wanna use it on your own. and i m no fan of mob cap increasing either but that s just my opinion
-
Wow, great concept! Never thought of using multiple accounts to increase the mob cap :D
