With that advice I'll be pruning apple trees, and vigorously compared to previous years. Though on a smaller scale I mostly pick, though I admit to enjoy shooting the bad apples on the trees, apples for storage and feeding through Winter. My stored apples and maize seem to keep every creature, deer to rabbits and squirrels, in the vicinity going through Winter to a fighting fit Spring start.Any tips of favoured varieties would be welcome. Thanks from the UK.
