how do you get the mad for ps4

I haven't tried this yet but I have seen logging in real life. The grapples should work better with more than one log. If you could pile them all the same way, top to bottom, and then move it to trailer I would think it would make life more easier. Just an idea I will have to try out when I do some logging.

I found out if you use the stump grinder for the little pieces they go away

I use the ponnse scorpion king. move it to the lumber mill, then buy fir trees for $7000 each and place them as close to lumber mill as possible. I buy 10 at a time . you get $25,000 a tree or $18,000 a tree after deducting $7,000, that's $180,000 for every 10 trees. drag them to the drop spot at the lumber mill then cut it so it drops into the marked area. I was able to harvest 10 trees every 20 minutes which pays $540,00 an hour.

The HEM 583 Z is a annoying wood chipper, but I think people use this equipment wrong because it suppose to be used for small logs and not long logs as seen in this video watch?v=z-uPmjcPQDA

so i did some experimentation (maybe the results are because of updates to the game since this video was produced) but its actually far more worthwhile to sell the logs at the scorpions size values completely trimmed. i did 6 experiments. here are my results
Scorpion:(variation is likely due to randomly generated tree's and their height differences. we can tack a happy estimate on any cuts with the scorpion king at about 44.5k
8m cut length: for a full tree nets roughly 44k euro
3m cut length: for a full tree nets roughly 45k euro
2m cut length: roughly 45k
1m: roughly 44k
No Scorpion:
full tree that still has its branches and junk: about 23k
full tree that has been perfectly cleaned: about 27k
did these tests using the placeable fir trees right near the sawmill on the new map.
i did at no point chop the trees up when doing them by hand as i wouldn't have been able to get the small scraps in otherwise, thus sort of...ruining the results. let me know what you think! :D -
What you need to use with the logging equipment is the mouse. Press and hold the left button and move the mouse left-right rotates the whole arm, or move the mouse up-down moves the whole arm up-down. Press and hold the right mouse button and move the mouse left-right telescopes the arm, or move the mouse up-down adjusts the arm at the hinge. The press and hold both buttons and mousing left-right rotates the head and mousing up-down open-closes the claw.

The trailer i'm using atm:

There are also Trailers with lower bars for the M.A.N. out there, didnt find one that suits my needs, though. You have to unload them all by hand at the lumbermill, wood is too high on them to activate the selling trigger. -
He's a lumberjack and he's ok~

Thanks for the tutorial on this stuff, but you got to try controlling the cranes with the mouse only, you can drive AND use the cranes at the same time then! The Ponsse equipment looks awesome, but is way overpriced. But if you buy the grappler for the NH tractors and the log trailer for the MAN truck, it's about the same, but pays itself back quicker due to the longer logs, i think.
