Love 'Limelight.' 'Little Lime' is great for smaller gardens, and foundation landscapes, too. Both are tough, and probably the most drought-tolerant hydrangeas I've met.

Hydrangeas are beautiful but I don't think they grow in my zone. Therefore, my alternative is bougainvillea; love it's vibrant colours and since it grows like a vine, it's very robust.
