How wide is your closet?
-
Hi Gary what kind of grow light you used and where can I buy?
-
if reflection is so important, how about using mirrors? at least on the top and bottom. Just a thought ...

You lose a lot of hooks... Those hooks are dirt cheap by the way.

We are ready to start the process of starting our plants from seed rather than buying them already grown this year. We've been trying to figure out how to do it, and this is a great set up you have. We will probably be doing something along these lines. This will be our third year growing a garden. Thanks for sharing, sure makes the guess work a lot easier!!

+Gary Pilarchik I built the PVC stand and used 6500K bulbs, placed cardboard to concentrate the light over two trays. This light keeps the seed dome around 80 degrees which is ideal without using a heat mat. My super hot peppers are looking great with this type of grow light system. Considering doubling the lights as more seed trays are added.

Hi love your videos but I had a question on when do you start you peppers from seeds inside?
-
I am considering theses lights. most of them are red in the other configurations to make a certain medicinal plant flower. these are the blue spectrum for growth.
-
Are you using just regular florecent bulbs or are they grow light bulbs?

Thanks for sharing

Hi Gary, thanks for all of your help. Can you do a video on how to run electric to the lights? Like how to hook the main wire from the box to the light. Thanks!

Nice grow setup Gary! Always best to use the 48" setup as you have since they're the most economical, even cheaper than 24" fixtures.
-
Very nice setup Gary, very well explained, you're giving me some ideas..thanks for another great video :)

Nice setup.

Thanks for the info.
For you and your audience-I discovered Snap Saddle T's at Home Depot. They make DIY PCV projects much easier (like a giant tinker-toy set)
For my reflecting film I am using "Space Blankets" or survival blankets-seems easier than mylar/foil -
Really nice to see your whole setup. Thanks for posting.

Gary, what do you use for insulation in the backside of your closet? I build a similar frame and need advise on insulating to keep it warm.
-
Do they need any kind of ventilation ?
