Laying Pavers on Sand or Gravel Paving a small backyard with DaznDi Properties In our new video I show how to lay concrete pavers in a small backyard. The client had about one hundred and eighty old pavers laying around which she wanted them laid on a grassed area. After working out the area that the pavers would cover I said that they would only cover just under half the total area. I suggested that to fill that balance of the area with crushed granite stone. This way I would use the crushed granite as the base for the pavers instead of sand. Also the crushed granite would look great and not need a lot of further maintenance.
