What???? This grass is a heat tolerant grass! Its plentiful in the south and close to beaches.

This is good advice TBH i'm switching to a organic fertilizer from now on and i been cutting my St augustine at 3 inches i just put peat moss down to help keep moisture for the coming Texas heat, like he said if you stuck around to the end St. Augustine grass requires a commitment to keep looking good all year long.

Even with all its faults, St. Augustine sure is beautiful. Holds up to traffic well, and the thick blades make it appear as though there's far more grass. Centipede on steroids.

im interested in sodding my front yard with st augustine,i live in glendora, california. the temp's lately have been between 85 and 95 degree,ive already tilled the soil approx 4" depth and in the prosses of leveling,is this a good time for this????
