Hi this is the first time im trying to grow Delphinum from seeds. Very few of the seeds have germinated for me (i put them in the fridge in a wet paper towel then when a bit of root came out i planted them in coir pellets outside in a proagator)and as soon as the seedling started showing i took off the lid. My problem is the seedlings are not growing. It is like they are frozen. Is this normal? its been a few weeks and still nothing no second set of leaves. and some just died for no reason. Please help :(

Very helpful!!! I love these flowers!!

Check out ELATUM Delphiniums, which are generally the best to grow in northern areas. They are not so succesful down-south! Most of my plants have been in the garden for 5 or 6 years or more, flowering in late june or early July in the UK. Check out Delphinium Dark Pink

Thanks for posting this. I had three of these delphinium in my garden, two I'm pretty sure died on me and the third is barely hanging in there. Hopefully they'll grow back next spring.
