they must like water, cos to collect the cranberries, the plot gets flooded with water
-
that pots going to be heavy now, couldnt you have filled the pot half way with polystyrene and then top with compost?

Your greenhouse is beautiful, especially with the look of the natural cedar wood. You are really lucky to have one so big. I hope you have lots of fun with it.
-
Haha you check your seeds everyday too!? I wish they grew that fast but knowing they dont doesnt stop me from taking a peek lol <3

Fantastic greenhouse Kate, well done. As you say. It's wonderful having a watertight area to raise your young plants.
I never had my tunnel up this time last year and what a difference it's made. Lovely just to be able to pot up in the dry when it's pouring with rain, it's also nice hearing the rain on the glass or plastic in my case.
My tunnel isn't heated but I have allowed a few young seedlings to scorch in the daytime heat without realising it, it'll be easier for you to control that though as your glasshouse is a little closer to home whereas mine is 3 miles away on my plot.
All the best, John
Thank you

Lovely greenhouse, have just done a video of ours but it's not as posh as yours...lol
So if you fancy slumming it pop over and have a looksie.
Looking forward to see how your lottie does this year as last year it was fabulous, nice one Katie...x -
You know I don't think I've ever eaten a fresh cranberry in my life. The hubby and I just bought a blackberry bush today to go with his raspberries and my strawberries. Hopefully, there will be a mixed berry crostata in our future!

Nice vid and nice to see you back
If you browup some coffe from real coffe beens and use the coffe to water your cranberrys once a month they will do well as the coffe ceeps the soil acid and twice a year with some iron fertilizer you cranberrys will grow well -
Hi Katie, thanks for your channel,
just what I need to keep myself inspired to work on my new allotment this year.
I like the start of your videos, it makes me smile every time, keep going :) -
Up to now I have only had the temporary tent kind of greenhouse, which always did the job and I grew excellent tomatoes etc over summer in them, but they couldn't be put up too early or left up over winter so I was limited in what I could do. So I got a real greenhouse myself as of last week and set about caching up and filling it up with all sorts of things I can now bring on early and new things i can grow this year. My tender things like tomatoes are inside my house still at the moment while it is too cold at nights but having a real greenhouse is a huge bonus to any veg grower. :)
I am dying to know about the chickens when will we be seeing them, and I hope you are building a sturdy pen round them as they will completely wreck your whole allotment and everyone else's within a few days if you don't lol. I have 4 in my own back garden and learned the heard way how much damage they do in a very short space of time. -
What a wonderful greenhouse! everything looks so nice, I can't wait for you to be able to get them into the ground, and since we have had so much snow, I'm itching to get digging again. I'm starting my seeds this week, and pray that the soil is a lot dryer than it is right now. I may end up with "leggy" veggies, but I can always plant some more I guess. Great video, and thank you for sharing. Sheila

Glad to see you back. The greenhouse is wonderful. They tend to fill up rather quickly in the spring. God Bless and take care.
