I was just wondering, in the US, we call an overgrown zucchini a "baseball bat." What does someone from a country where they don't play baseball call it?

I wish 1/4 of my garden looked like yours...what do you do...

My garden in Dutchess County NY , was sooo bad again this year...everything eaten by something.... plus no rain... so upset..all the work we did ... I am doing hoop houses next year...that it...im done with anything else.... :(

Sorry to hear you have been having a drought. Paul Gautschi the creator of the Back to Eden has an awesome film about wood chips holding in the water. Several other channels use this same method- Starry Hilder,Justin Rhodes, Appalachia's Homestead and Life on Farmland, with success. I am sure there are many others. Good luck to you.
