I have a question regarding replanting a Japanese acer plant. I dug an Acer out of my grans back yard as she was moving, however in the process I ripped up half the lawn following this LOOOOOOOOOONG root. It was like pulling electric cables out of a home. If I were to dig it up and move it again, would I have to find that LOOOOOOOONG root again, or can I just dig it out as I normally would and just cut the long ass root off?

You're so right about the shade. 8 years ago I planted two identical plants, one in the front yard (afternoon sun, exposed spot) and one in the rear garden (up against a fence and shaded). First one after 8 years, sad and fried 3' tall max. Second one storming away to at least 15'. I won't make that mistake again!

Can the Japaneze maples be planted between blue spruse trees

If I had to choose, I would use the triple 14. Be sure to use the correct amount and not to apply near the bark. Be sure it's planted in a rich, organic, well drained soil in a protected area. Thanks for asking!
