Inspired! I'm a Baltimore City resident and am just starting out. It's good to see that you were here and educating about year 'round gardening. Thank you for this vid.

This is awesome! I live out in the county, I've been growing fruits and vegetables for a while.
@charm city farms I can donate seeds and saplings next year or if I have too much produce I can donate some, had about 100 cucumbers this year.
Also anyone in the area wants some help and ideas, shoot me an email, or give me some advice too! -
Dude, Too many complainers in the world - "it's too late," "it's too ...". Whatever. They need to eat some raw greens and get healthy, body and mind. Thanks for the fabulous videos, brother!

John, I'm new to gardening. M cukes grew to 8" beautiful but worms got them. What can I do? Also the others didn't make it, just 3 big ones. why are they dying after just starting to grow? Thanks, love your video's. Have watched over & over

There was a week or two because the frost will kill back most of what you looked at..
-
you should also check out eco city farm in Hyattsville, MD in the middle of a food desert. compost taxi.
-
I have never seen okra
-
it could become a thing to go to a bunch of them to see how they all differ from place to place until you get to your actual destination, a garden on the side of the road where there'd be nothing but beneficial weeds could be amazing
-
there should be traveler's gardens on the side of major interstates
-
I'm self sufficiently growing my greens and other vegetables in my 5th wheel toy hauler while on the road with LED grow lights as a fulltime RV'er/nomad. I wish RV parks would have community gardens and Permaculture Food Forests to participate in but the near future perhaps...

Thanks for the continuing garden info, brilliant

Hi, John! I'm excited to see you out here on the East Coast (and as a DC dweller, I also got a kick out of your Baltimore jokes!) Gardening here has a lot in common with what you do out West, but it has a lot of key differences too.
Also, I was excited to see you on the COVER OF a MAGAZINE when I stopped by the store yesterday--I can't remember the name, but it was a Homesteading mag or something like that. I bought a copy, even though I'd never seen that magazine before. Just for you! I haven't read it yet, but CONGRATS! -
in 2 to 3 weeks the first frost will be upon us here in New Jersey, and my garden will be decimated.

Give us a heads up next time and we'll show you around the food forest and some other projects CCF are working. There is also over a dozen community gardens and half a dozen or so urban farms throughout Baltimore. We have chickens, rabbits, bees and might get goats in the spring.

Hi John, just curious, I see you always wear a necklace with big pendant. Is that some kind of button that connects to Medical Alert System?
