Interview with a Kansas Migrant/ESL Coordinator - Kansas Migrant and ELL Academy

This is a short interview with Janie, the current coordinator of state and federal Migrant and ESL programs in Garden City public schools and a former mayor and council member of Garden City, KS. She immigrated to Kansas from Mexico with her parents, who were migrant workers, when she was a child. Her family worked tirelessly and taught Janie that hard work pays off and to always give back to your community.
