You are going to have to spend Energy to maximize Victory point farming, so there is a good reason for stockpiling energy, although sometimes, you will receive 3 energy for completing a battle entirely, I've also received random 1 and 2 star gear cards, or specials cards. Unfortunately, the new season does NOT have the same rewards, so I will not be participating as much. It's very important in high level gameplay to optimize your gear, to make farming Victory points easier. I chose to outfit Red Son Superman with +Basic Damage gear, Red Son Wonder Woman with Blocking Stops X% more Damage, and Red Son Solomon Grundy with more Maximum Health, however to better optimize Solomon Grundy, I recommend stacking Power Generation to get off more Supermoves or Dead's Blood off tags.
